I'm Back!!

Well I've been off all week taking a little break from all the parties!! We had our last one Wednesday with Jason turning 37. He had a fun day. His ladies made him a crown and septor! He had a very big head. Don't worry we bursted that bubble very quickly
This weekend Jason, Walter and his friend Andy went out to Las Vegas for a shooting show. Don't ask,they are having fun and not purchasing anything! Last night he went to the casino that was holding a BIG UFC fight! He and Andy were hoping to get in, but the tickets were $800 and up. He did not buy one! So they walked the strip a bit.
Today he's due to see his dad and his wife Gayla. That will be great for him.
As for us, we've had a fun weekend. Katie had a sleepover at a friends Friday and Ben and I went on an adventure! Oh yes, we had quite the adventure Friday night and once again my dad, our Poppy came to the rescue. The brief story: I locked myself out of the house at 5:15ish at night. Yes, it was getting dark. It was also the day of POURING RAIN. Panic is an understatement. No key in any secret places that I could find and no way to reach Jason who just took off on the plane. So we took a trek through the woods to our neighbors. The house had lights on and it looked really close, really close. Well it wasn't. We took one step into the woods and slid down on our butts! It gets worse. I will no longer worry about our well. There is a lot of water back there I never knew we had a stream! Yup. Rocks, swamp, pricker bushes and oh yeah a rock wall to climb over! Oh yes, I am not kidding. no one was home. So off we went to our next neighbor.
Well to make a long story short, we found a neighbor who was home and we called my dad who had a spare key. So the lesson is: IF YOU LIVE ON A MAIN ROAD AND HAVE NO NEIGHBORS MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A SPARE KEY!!!! LESSON 2: HAVE A SPARE KEY NO MATTER WHERE YOU LIVE!
We survived.
Now we are relaxing at my mom and dad's and having a fun day.
