The only problem with changing is you risk losing some pieces of your former blog.
I lost my He Said/She said running record. So Sad.
If any of my fellow bloggers know how to retrieve I would be so THANKFUL!

You scared me when I read the words "so sad" ... thought something bad happened!
Anyway, I don't think there is any way to retrieve that info once it's gone so you will have to remember it and write it again. Next time you change your template highlight the area and 'print selection' so you can at least save it on paper before it gets wiped out. Sorry! That is sad. =(
