We have had a great October so far! We've been to several fun get together's and enjoying the warm weather. We even got to the beach two times! Of course I did not go into the water, but K & B did.
My ankle is getting better and I'm able to put my stylish sneakers on. I go back to the doctor in two weeks. K & B are both doing well with school. K is reading like crazy. She loves to read and loves to write. B is still crazy. He loves to be outside with Dad. He goes into the woods and hangs out as Daddy chops wood for our new wood stove. We are all enjoying our new home. Grandpa Walter is doing well too. He's busy visiting friends and going to the grocery store each day to get a little something.
We had fun at a Pumpkin Patch picnic, where the kids got to go on a crazy truck ride to a pumpkin patch in a field and pick their own. Then we went to Kathy and Bob's for a fun campfire/dinner. The kids had a ball. The next day we were off to a Victorian wedding reception. Many of the people dressed up in Victorian clothing. You know Katie loved that!
So we'll see what the end of the month brings. Halloween will be here in no time.
